Amid busy schedules of SSMB 28, Mahesh Babu forays into restaurant business, names it after THIS person

It was four years ago that Tollywood superstar Mahesh Babu ventured into multiplex business along with entrepreneur Sunil Narang to launch AMB Cinemas, which is one of the popular destinations for moviegoers in Hyderabad today. He has now forayed into the restaurant business with Sunil.

The new venture at Banjara Hills in Hyderabad is expected to be launched tomorrow. We hear that the restaurant has been titled AN, named after a special person in the superstar's life. Apparently, N stands for former actress Namrata Shirodkar who happens to be the star's life partner. Fans of the star are now eager to know what their matinee idol's next plans could be.

He has been busy with director Trivikram's SSMB 28 (tentative title) for a while. The project has been getting delayed for multiple reasons. There were reports that the team decided to omit an action scene which was shot owing to creative differences between the makers.

There was speculation about the movie's story undergoing a few changes as well. A month ago, Mahesh's father and veteran actor Krishna passed away, which also brought the shooting to a standstill. The latest we hear is that the crew is heading to Dubai.

The movie, which will hit the theatres in 2023, has Pooja Hegde playing the female lead. This is the actress' second movie with Mahesh after Maharshi, and third film with Trivikram post Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava and Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. Thaman is the project's music composer.

Mahesh is expected to join Rajamouli's most-expected movie after he completes SSMB 28. The mega budget film is said to be a pan world project which is likely to have Hollywood production houses and technicians associating with it.
