Andhra King Taluka locks OTT platform: Where to watch Ram Pothineni's film online after its theatrical run

Telugu star Ram Pothineni is going through a series of flops in his career and needs to make a solid comeback at any cost. So he has teamed up with Mahesh Babu P, the director, who made Miss Polishetty Mr Polishetty with Anushka Shetty and Naveen Polishetty as the main leads.

Andhra King Taluka is nearing its completion, and the release date will be out soon. A few days ago, we at OTTplay already revealed that Anirudh has sung a special song in the film, with the music of Vivek–Mervin. Now, we have come to know about the film's digital rights.

The news is that Netflix has bagged the OTT rights to the film for a fancy price. The makers were in talks with both Amazon Prime Video and Netflix, but as Netflix gave them a better offer, the makers locked the streaming giant. The film will stream on the platform after its theatrical run.

Andhra King Taluka is being produced by the makers of Pushpa, Mythri Movie Makers, and their last few films were sold to Netflix. Their recent release, 8 Vasantalu, has just landed on Netflix on July 11, 2025, and has taken a great start. A chunk of the budget of Andhra King Taluka has already been recovered through this OTT deal, says one of the makers.

Andhra King Taluk has Ram Pothineni in the role of an ardent fan of a star hero in Andhra. The star hero is played by Kannada superstar Upendra. Ram Pothineni will be seen in a completely new look in this film, which has Bhagyashree Bose of Mr Bachchan fame as the female lead.

Ram Pothineni's dating rumors make headlines

The comedy caper made headlines as reports made the rounds that Ram Pothineni and Bhagyashree Bose are seeing each other. Though an official confirmation is yet to be made regarding their relationship, this gossip has kept the film in the news. A chunk of the shoot is yet to be wrapped up, and news is that the film will be done by the end of August 2025.

A new song from the film will be revealed soon.  In the days to come, a grand event is being planned to launch the trailer of the film. Ram Pothineni always tries different films and post the debacle of Double Ismart, he will be seen in a completely fun avatar in this film. Stay tuned for more updates on this project.
