Anomie, Bhavana's 90th film, was marketed as the movie which is 'reinventing' the actress who has not been very active in Malayalam cinema recently. The Malayalam thriller movie Anomie hit cinemas on Friday, along with Jayaram and Kalidas’ filAshakal Aayiram. The film is a sci-fi thriller, and the first reviews of netizens after the first-day-first-shows of the movie are out. But sadly, Anomie has opened to mixed reviews. Some netizens billed the Bhavan-starrer as a ‘decent watch’ and average thriller, while others panned the weak writing of the movie.

Director Riyas Marath has also penned the script. The film has music by Harshavardhan Rameshwar, known for his work in blockbuster movies such as Vijay Deverakonda's Arjun Reddy and Ranbir Kapoor-starrer Animal. But neither the writing nor the music has been able to elevate the film, going by the comments online.
