Recently, Lukman featured in Khalid Rahman's Alappuzha Gymkhana, which was streamed on Sony LIV via OTTplay Premium. The female lead in this romantic comedy is played by Drishya Raghunath. The main character of the movie is Arjun, played by Lukman, who enrols in Government College Chittur, where he meets Anu and develops feelings for her. However, he struggles because he is unable to express his true feelings to her. The core of Athibheekara Kaamukan is his emotional journey through feelings of love, humour, despair, and hope. The movie's trailer shows glimpses of him confronting the realities of his life and love.

Gautham Thaniyil and CC Nithin have helmed Athibheekara Kaamukan. Irshad Ali, Karthik, and Manohari Joy are part of the film's supporting cast. Sujai Mohanraj wrote the screenplay for this movie.
