In the backyard of carpenter Madhavan, Prakashan discovers Vinod having an extramarital affair with an unidentified woman. He asks the tailor, Venu, to verify his claims by going back to the same spot the following day at night. As word about this spreads, Madhavan's daughter-in-law, Nirmala, is suspected of cheating without any proof. In order to punish the offenders in front of their small town's residents, a group of men, including several villagers and Madhavan's sons, promptly take over the responsibility to catch them. The main focus of the film is the amusing fallout.
