Salman Khan and Arijit Singh have collaborated for a new song years after they had a public fallout. Their last collaboration was in Tiger 3 (2023). The duo had collaborated for two songs, Leke Prabhu Ka Naam as well as Ruaan. The makers of Salman’s upcoming movie Battle of Galwan have shared a new announcement by releasing a short promo video from their film. This clip is a teaser of the first and upcoming song from Battle of Galwan. The track is titled Maatrubhumi, and Salman x Arijit Singh collab has left netizens excited.

What was the controversy between Salman Khan and Arijit Singh?

Back in 2014, Salman Khan and Arijit Singh had a public fallout. It happened at an awards show, where Salman teased Arijit and said, “So gaye the kya? (Did you fall asleep?)” In turn, Arijit replied, “Aap logon ne sula diya (You guys got me sleepy).” This led to an awkward moment. Soon after, there was strong buzz that Arijit Singh was replaced from Salman Khan-Anushka Sharma’s movie Sultan (2016). The singer was supposed to initially croon Jag Ghoomeya, but was replaced by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan.
