Bigg Boss 18: When Salman Khan announced Karan Veer Mehra as the winner, a few contestants who were present at the grand finale venue, didn't clap for him.

On January 19, 2025, the Salman Khan-hosted show Bigg Boss 18 ended with Karan Veer Mehra lifting the trophy. He defeated Vivian Dsena and Rajat Dalal in the grand finale. Since then, Karan and his fans have been enjoying his massive win. After he won the show, fan clubs of other contestants were seen calling out the makers for giving him the trophy. Everyone including the other contestants was expecting Vivian to win Bigg Boss 18. This was even seen when Salman announced Karan as the winner, a few contestants who were present at the venue, didn't clap for him. Now, in a new interview, Mehra has reacted to the same.

Was Karan Veer Mehra bothered by people not cheering for him?

While speaking to Pinkvilla recently, Karan Veer Mehra, who is enjoying his big win at the moment was asked if he was bothered by some of them as they didn't clap for him during his winning moment. The Bigg Boss 18 winner said, "Do teen logon ki jo thi bahut unchi thi (There were two or three people whose cheer were the loudest). I think Chum, Shilpa, and my own sister jisko main baad mein mila kyunki (whom I met later because) I was celebrating with them more."

He further added, "Khush kam the log (people were less happy). That time, I didn't realize. Now that I am seeing videos and people are talking bad about me. Apne liye utna bura nahi laga par (I didn't feel bad for myself, but) my mom fell sick watching the show kyunki mere baare mein negative itna (as people talked so much negatively about me). That is bothering me."

Karan Veer Mehra on his upcoming projects

In the same interview, he revealed that he has been auditioning for work. He said, "I have to go and give auditions for certain things. Jayse mein abhi bhi de raha hu, you know, I’ve won two reality shows; this is my profile thank you… karke aa raha hu mein abhi bhi. At times, you need to give your introductions, sab nahi dekhta hain na yaar."

Meanwhile, Karan entered the Bigg Boss 18 show soon after winning Rohit Shetty's Khatron Ke Khiladi 14.
