Mohanlal, the host, also discussed some incidents that had place within the house throughout the first week. First eviction of Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 7

Today's episode saw the first eviction in the seventh season of the popular reality show. Because he received fewer votes from the audience, Munshi Ranjith was sent out of the home. Ranjith is well-known among Malayalis because of his performance in Asianet's popular show, Munshi. After his eviction was announced, he remained silent. His strong performance throughout the first week in the home was commended by Mohanlal. Viewers are now left wondering whether he would make a comeback to the competition by entering a challenge or wildcard. In the middle of the upcoming week, Mohanlal also alluded to the expulsion of another competitor.

Eight competitors— Munshi Ranjith, Shaithya Santhosh, Renu Sudhi, Nevin, Gizele, Aryan Kathuria, Anumol, and Sariga—were nominated in the first week. However, since no one mentioned them in the first round of nominations, contestants like RJ Bincy and Appani Sarath were safe.

Mohanlal called out Anumol and Appani Sarath

Anumol and Appani Sarath were reprimanded by the host for violating the jail's regulations in the house. Based on who was less active throughout the first week of the tournament, the participants nominated Anumol, who was then selected to go to jail. The current captain of the house, Aneesh T. A. was given the power to directly select a participant for prison time, and he chose Appani Sarath. They decided to target Aneesh because they were both angered by these decisions. When the captain unlocked the cell to let them use the toilet, the two ran away and hid in the kitchen, mocking Aneesh. This appeared to have broken a rule of the game.
