The latest episode of Bigg Boss Tamil season 9 saw yet another showdown between host Vijay Sethupathi and the contestants, including VJ Parvathy and Watermelon Star Diwagar, reviewing of Sabari’s captaincy, and also the violent manhandling of the captaincy task. Vijay Sethupathi had to lash out at the housemates, including condemning them of body-shaming, physical violence, and partiality.

The episode began with VJ Parvathy being questioned by Vijay Sethupathi about how she had kept certain mocking names for housemates, including Vikkals Vikram, Aurora Sinclair, and Amit Bhargav. Vikkals Vikram had alleged that one of the nicknames kept for him by Parvathy had body-shammed him. Even as “There is no use of defending when it is evident. We know the intentions when we have seen you for six weeks. What you called Vikram was with the intent to body-shame and do not try to make up reasons for it,” Vijay Sethupathi warned Parvathy. The latter had also kept another name for Vikram, which had shamed him as wicked. This too was warned by Vijay Sethupathi after which Parvathy accepted it’s her wrong-doing.

Vijay Sethupathi next spoke to Watermelon Star, “Do not smile at me, thinking it charms me,” as he then addressed the tiff between Parvathy, Diwagar and Aurora. The former duo had alleged the latter for sending a vulgar symbolism during a brick building task. However, as Aurora had denied it, the issue was brought up during the weekend episode. “Is her (Aurora) only work to show vulgarism to Diwagar in a show where everyone is competing? Everything is wrong inside your head, and your vision,” an angry Vijay Sethupathi lashed out at Parvathy and Diwagar. “Why label someone, and stamp a name. It’s wrong to make allegations and are we fools to watch it? I don’t have any affair with Vikram for me to take a stand for him.”

Captaincy task discrepancy:

This week’s captaincy task had left Parvathy with swollen black eye, after Sabari had hit her. Meanwhile, Vikkals Vikram and Kani were judges for the task. While there were some disagreements had cropped up during Parvathy’s elimination, Kani was questioned by Vijay Sethupathi on her unfairness. Sandra Amy had alleged the judges were partial towards Sabari, while Parvathy received a hand of applause for her sportsmanship and participating for a re-match despite black eye.

Kani was shown a short recap of the game, which showed Sabari man-handling Parvathy, including stamping her with shoe, shoving her aside, and pushing her roughly. FJ was reprimanded for his ‘good game’ dialogue while Parvathy was roughly handled by Sabari. FJ said ‘Okay, to which Vijay Sethupathi said, “Don’t tackle me, that’s not right. Don’t show your talent here.” During the show break, Sabari apologised to Parvathy, while Kamrudin engaged in a heated argument with Kani and Sabari.
