In a surprising move, the makers of Kantara Chapter 1 have revealed the full video of one of the film’s most important songs, Brahmakalasha, only a week after the film hit theatres. Composed by Ajaneesh B Loknath and sung in all languages by Abby V, Brahmakalasha, as the title suggests, revolves around temple rituals for the installation of physical representation of divinity.

Brahmakalasha: The calm before the storm

In the film, the song plays out when the people of Kantara agree to willingly handover their daivas to the royal family’s new Shiva temple. This is the moment that the royal family and the Kadaba tribe had been waiting all along and paves way for the major twist in the tale. Brahmakalasha is a mesmerizing devotional track, which audiences have lapped up, only second to the original Kantara’s Varaharoopam, though. Those who saw the film and loved the song can now enjoy its full video version in the language of their choice.

Kantara Chapter 1, which released on October 2 in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi, has broken in the Rs 300 cr club as of Day 7 at the box office. After a phenomenal first weekend, the film has seen a week-day dip across languages. It became the highest grossing Kannada film of 2025 as of Day 6.
