Chatha Pacha box office collection day 5: The first major Malayalam release of the year, Chatha Pacha, has been performing reasonably well at the ticket window. Helmed by Adhvaith Nayar the film witnessed a drop on day 5, which was also Republic Day, failing to make the most of the long weekend. Despite this, the Arjun Ashokan and Roshan Mathew-starrer has hit the milestone of Rs 25 crore in worldwide collections, as per trade tracker Sacnilk.

Chatha Pacha: The Ring of Rowdies made Rs 1.63 crore in India net collections, dropping below Rs 2 crore for the first time after its release on January 22, 2026. After a Rs 3.4-crore opening, Chatha Pacha consistently earned Rs 2.1 crore and above on day 2, 3 and 4. But dropped below Rs 1.63 crore on Monday, which was a holiday as the nation marked its 77th Republic Day. The film stars Arjun Ashokan and Roshan Mathew in the lead roles of Savio and Vetri.

But Chatha Pacha made Rs 25 crore in five days at the box office, with Rs 12.25 crore collected in India gross and Rs 12.75 crore from overseas, as per the Sacnilk figures. But the real test would begin from January 27 as the film enters a working week. But Chatha Pacha does not face any competition at the box office, as the other Malayalam release of Baby Girl fails to make a dent.

Malayalam actor Nivin Pauly’s latest film Baby Girl released in theatres a day after Chatha Pacha, and has been struggling from day 1, amid middling reviews. The Arun Varma directorial made only Rs 0.75 crore on day 1, and Rs 0.85 crore. The thriller managed to collect Rs 1 crore on day 3, before dropping to Rs 0.54 crore. The worldwide collections of Baby Girl stands at a poor Rs 3.65 crore.
