The Malayalam film Chatha Pacha: The Ring of Rowdies is now set for a renewed run at the box office, but this time in Telugu. Ahead of its release in the Telugu states, the team of Chatha Pacha met with the popular director Sandeep Reddy Vanga and also showed him the trailer for the action-comedy.

Chatha Pacha is an action-comedy film, starring actors Arjun Ashokan, Roshan Mathew, Vishak Nair, and Ishan Shoukath in the lead. The Malayalam film, which is inspired by WWE wrestling, is set to release in Telugu on February 13, 2026. Ahead of the release, Chatha Pacha actors Roshan Mathew, Vishak Nair and Ishaan met Sandeep Reddy Vanga. In the video shared by the team, we can see the stars interacting with the Animal director and showing him the trailer in Telugu. They also point out that megastar Mammootty’s glimpse is shown towards the end.

On the other hand, Telugu filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga is currently working on his upcoming film Spirit, which stars Prabhas in the lead. He also has Ranbir Kapoor's Animal Park, sequel to their controversial yet blockbuster film.

Helmed by Adhvaith Nayar, Chatha Pacha revolves around Savio and Little, who started a wrestling club in Kochi. They are joined by their childhood buddy Vetri. However, past grievances surface, threatening the relationship between the friends. Arjun Ashokan, Roshan Mathew and Ishaan play the buddies, while Vishak Nair is seen as the villain. Malayalam megastar Mammootty appears in a cameo role of Bullet Walter, but faced trolls for the portrayal.

Chatha Pacha has collected Rs 33.37 crore in worldwide collections, as per trade tracker Sacnilk. Chatha Pacha, which hit theatres on January 22, has been performing better than other Malayalam films that released in 2026. It remains to be seen if Chatha Pacha will be able to make an impact in the Telugu box office.
