Speaking about Chiraiya, Divya Dutta said that while living with her character in Chiraiya, she found herself constantly confronting an uncomfortable truth: how often we silence ourselves in the name of preserving relationships, in the name of keeping the peace.

She said, "When you witness someone you love being diminished or wronged, do you stay quiet to protect what exists, or do you risk everything to protect what is right?" She shared that there was no easy answer and that this was what made the story so deeply unsettling. Divya also said that she hoped that when people experienced it, they would not just see it, but truly feel it and recognise the truths that, in silence, often remain unspoken.
