Siddharth, who made a comeback with Takkar recently after a short hiatus, is ready with his next outing. The movie, which was titled Chithha a while ago, had its first look poster unveiled by Kamal Haasan. The Boys actor expressed excitement a few months ago when Ulaganayagan announced the film.

He himself has bankrolled the project under Etaki Entertainment. SU Arun Kumar of Pannaiyarum Padminiyum and Sethupathi has helmed the movie. The makers have now announced their release plans. Jayam Ravi has released a new poster that mentions September 28 as its release date.

It features Siddharth in an exhausted look, leaving film buffs curious. Billed as a thriller, it revolves around the relationship between a young girl and her uncle. Dhibu Ninan Thomas has composed songs for the film while Vishal Chandrasekhar is in charge of the background score.

Balaji Subramanyam has cranked the camera for Chithha which has Suresh A Prasad handling editing. C Balachandar has helmed art direction and director Arun himself has penned lyrics along with Yugabharathi. Red Giant Movies has bagged the theatrical rights of the film in Tamil Nadu.

Siddharth's next big release is Shankar's Indian 2 which has him sharing screen space with Kamal Haasan. The much-awaited movie marks his second collaboration with Shankar after his acting debut. The actor is also busy with Test which marks the directorial debut of producer Sashikanth.

It brings him and Madhavan together after Rang De Basanti. Nayanthara and Meera Jasmine are others who will be seen essaying important roles in the film that revolves around cricket. Its shooting was wrapped up a couple of months ago.
