After a year, CID 2 starring the iconic trio Shivaji Satam, Aditya Srivastava, and Daya Shetty, came to an end on December 14, 2025. But fans demanded CID 3. Here's what a new report claimed about the new season.

A source close to the production told TellyChakkar that the creators might come back with CID 3 around May–June 2026. Although there has been no official announcement yet, excitement is already building.

Meanwhile, during an early interview with Telly Express (Gossips TV), Shivaji Satam expressed his willingness to return as ACP Pradyuman in CID 3. However, the final decision will be taken by the makers.
