We are just under 10 days away from Coolie release, and the hype over the Rajinikanth movie has only been increasing day after day. The film, which is written and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, is set to release on August 14 in theatres. In a recent TV program telecast, the filmmaker revealed that one moment from Coolie that he is waiting to watch with audience in theatre.

Lokesh Kanagaraj, an established fan boy of Kamal Haasan, will be directing Rajinikanth for the first time in the upcoming film Coolie. The film is touted to be an action thriller, and will release on August 14 in theatres.

In a TV program telecast on Sun TV, in which the Lokesh along with the crew of Coolie participated over a cricket match, the filmmaker revealed the moment he is looking forward to watching with audience. "It is the intermission. I am waiting for it. As a fan boy, Kamal sir is always special. But when it is the first time I am making a film for Rajini sir, I wanted to make a certain intermission for him and that is what I want to watch with audience."

Lokesh also said that Coolie will always be a memory to him, how the team worked together to create it along with the cast. "We all stayed together, and we had people across all states,” Lokesh added.

Coolie has been certified A, making it a film only for adults. With Lokesh saying that there is no compromise on violence, fans’ expectations have only increased. Starring Nagarjuna, Aamir Khan, Upendra, Sathyaraj, Shruti Haasan, Soubin Shahir and others, Coolie has music by Anirudh Ravichander. The trailer of Coolie had set up expectations on the film to be a sci-fi with time travel element. However, Lokesh said that audience will be in for a surprise after watching the film.
