Coolie OTT release date: Rajinikanth’s film, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, is a gangster revenge saga which became 2025’s biggest Tamil grosser.

Coolie, the action thriller Tamil film fronted by Rajinikanth, is coming to streaming very soon. Like we had earlier reported, the film’s post-theatrical streaming rights have been bagged by Prime Video and will premiere on September 11. Besides the original language in Tamil, you can also stream Coolie in Malayalam, Telugu and Kannada.

Coolie, the 2025 Tamil action thriller which features Rajinikanth along with a bunch of known stars, is making its way to Prime Video. OTTplay Premium subscribers can use their existing plan and top-up with Prime Video, to watch Coolie very soon. Coolie will be available for streaming from September 11 in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. However, Hindi audience have to wait a little longer to catch the film in their language.

The action thriller is written and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj in his maiden collaboration with superstar Rajinikanth. While it was earlier established that Coolie will not be an LCU film, there was much anticipation after the trailer hinted some time-travelling and sci-fi concept. However, upon its theatrical release, Coolie revealed to be a straight-forward gangster revenge saga. The film revolves around Deva, a mansion owner who seeks out to know the true reason behind his friend’s death.
