The two teams had finished the league stage with 12 points, placing them atop the WPL 2023 points standings. However, due to their higher Net Run Rate (NRR), DC had a direct entry into the final game while MI had to make an extra effort to defeat UP Warriorz in the Eliminators.-

What a knock this has been as she hits the winning shot and MI players rush out to the middle.

That run was not needed, but was taken. The pressure got to Jonassen and she ran Lanning out.
It was a mistimed punch to the right of cover and both batters stutter before going through for the single,,
However, it was a little too late as Amanjot threw the ball to Yastika who did the rest.

The low full-toss is clearly below the waist and Capsey, who just jabbed it saw the ball lob in front of cover where Amanjot judged it well and took a good catch diving forward.
Wong got two and DCW have lost both reviews early in the innings.
Capsey c Amanjot Kaur b Wong 0(2)
It was a high full-toss on the stumps and Shafali Verma maked room for herself and sliced it in the air.
She was given OUT, but immediately Shafali and Lanning wanted the review.
