Demon Slayer Infinity Castle movie 1 aka Akaza's Return

The trailer of Demon Slayer Infinity Castle movie part 1 is already making the waves because it is finally time for Tanjiro vs Akaza but what if we tell you there are more fights waiting to be explored in the film. To begin with, Tanjiro will not be the only person fighting Akaza this time around. Here are all the fights waiting to be explored in the first installment of Demon Slayer Infinity Castle movie part 1...

Zenitsu vs Kaigaku

Imagine having to fight your former master, and imagine doing that when you are a demon slayer like Zenitsu who is scared of 90% of the things that exist (at least when fully awake). Zenitsu is now forced to fight his former master Kaigaku during his time in Infinity Castle. The film is likely to begin with their battle. For the background, Kaigaku is Upper Rank Six demon who replaced Daki and Gyutaro. Kaigaku uses thunder breathing and thus, this is bound to be a tough challenge for a student has to beat his master and ensure he doesn't wake up and let his fears overtake him because there isn't a place to run away from your fears inside the Infinity Castle.

Shinobu vs Douma

Insect Hashira Shinobu Kocho is out fighting Upper Rank Two demon Douma. The trailer has already hinted at the same. With this, we are likely to explore what happened to her sister and how did she die at the hands of a powerful demon. That demon could potentially even be Douma. The challenge and facing Douma all by herself is going to be tougher on the Hashira who believes in healing over harm.

Tanjiro and Giyu Tomioka vs Akaza

Although Tanjiro holds a grudge against Akaza, Giyu Tomioka getting into the equation is sure to complicate some things. Tanjiro would want to have the final strike, but with the powerful hashiras side-by-side, Akaza's chances, despite being Upper Rank Three demon, get slimmer. This, however, will be the highlight of the movie since it would mean avenging Kyojuro Rengoku's death in Mugen Train arc. Tanjiro and Akaza have been waiting for the day they can fight again, and that is what would make the first installment interesting.

Demon Slayer Infinity Castle: Akaza's Return, or as we know it, movie part 1, will release in Indian cinemas on September 12. The franchise is unlikely to be adapted into a series.
