Dheeram OTT release date: The Indrajith Sukumaran-starrer is set for its digital debut almost three months after its theatrical release. The thriller will drop on Sun NXT (OTTplay Premium) next month

The Malayalam film Dheeram, starring actor Indrajith Sukumaran, is set for its digital release. Billed as an investigation thriller, Dheeram will drop on Sun NXT via OTTplay Premium on March 6, 2026. Jithin Suresh T has directed the movie.

Where to watch Dheeram online

The 2025 film Dheeram had released in theatres on December 5, along with megastar Mammootty’s Kalamkaval which is already streaming on Sony Liv and OTTplay Premium. Now, the Indrajith Sukumaran-starrer is set for its digital debut almost three months after its theatrical release. Dheeram will drop on Sun NXT on March 6 and will be available to stream in Malayalam with English subtitles. OTTplay Premium subscribers can also access the film. Earlier, there were reports of Amazon Prime Video acquiring the rights for Dheeram.

Dheeram did not have any impact at the box office when it released in December with Kalamkaval emerging to be the only hit for Mammmotty in 2025. The makers would be hoping Dheeram would find some takers in the digital world. So far, no other Malayalam film has announced its digital release in March.

On the other hand, Sharaf U Dheen and Arjun Ashokan’s road movie, Khajuraho Dreams, had also released on December 5. The film, which faced delays over theatrical release, started streaming on Saina Play on February 26, 2026.

The series Secret Stories of Roslin is the other release from Malayalam this week. Starring Sanjana Dipu, Meena, Vineeth and Hakim Shahjahan, the thriller series is streaming on JioHotstar via OTTplay Premium.

What’s Dheeram about

Indrajith Sukumaran dons the role of a cop after a while for Dheeram. He is seen as ACP Stalin Joseph, who seeks to hunt down a psycho killer after a string of murders reported in Kozhikode city in north Kerala.

Apart from Indrajith, the film also features Aju Varghese, Divya Pillai, Vijayaraghavan, Sagar Surya of Pani fame, Nishanth Sagar, and Reba Monica John in other key roles.
