Dheeran's plot and other details

The film begins with the news that Eldose succumbed in a fire accident while working in factory in a village in Tamil Nadu. His hometown, where he was praised as a hero before becoming an inconvenience, and his family had differing opinions about this news. A group of his family members and other residents set out to bring his body back to their hometown so that the last rites could be performed. The main theme of the movie is how their disastrous choices made the journey challenging than they initially anticipated.

Devadath Shaji made his directorial debut with Dheeran after co-writing Mammootty's popular action drama, Bheeshma Parvam which is available on JioHotstar and OTTplay Premium. Additionally, he served as an assistant director for Kumbalangi Nights. In this comedy-drama, Rajesh Madhavan, Manoj K Jayan, Jagadish, Vineeth, Ashokan, Abhiram Radhakrishnan, and Sudheesh all play important parts.
