Bollywood Hungama reported that Dhurandhar has a runtime of 214.01 minutes, aka 3 hours, 34 minutes and 1 second. This runtime makes Dhurandhar the lengthiest film in 17 years for Bollywood after Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's Jodhaa Akbar (2008). The film is 214 minutes long. Dhurandhar is longer than Ranbir Kapoor's Animal (3 hours and 21 minutes) and Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2: The Rule (3 hours and 20 minutes).
Dhurandhar has been given an 'A' certificate. This means the film is restricted to adults aged 18 and above due to its mature content.
Speaking about the edits, the CBFC has asked the makers to add the voiceover for the Hindi disclaimer. Accordingly, the duration of the disclaimer was extended to facilitate voiceover. Meanwhile, anti-drug static and anti-smoking static were added to scenes where the film's characters are seen consuming addictive substances.
At the beginning of the film, scenes of violence were replaced with appropriate shots. In the second half, the makers were advised to reduce the intensity of violent visuals. Apart from these, the character name of a minister was 'suitably changed', and a cuss word was muted as well.
Meanwhile, Pinkvilla reported that Dhurandhar will have a 4-minute post-credit scene. "Ranveer Singh starrer will have a 4-minute-long post-credits scene. This special sequence will act as a teaser of Dhurandhar 2, which is designed to take the excitement among the audience for the sequel a notch higher. The makers are still looking at multiple release options for the second part. However, there is a possibility that this exciting post-credit scene might also reveal the release date of Dhurandhar 2," the report shared.
