Speaking to Variety India, Huma Qureshi addressed the Dhurandhar: The Revenge (Part 2) and Toxic box office clash. She said that it's win for the Indian film industry. She said, “No matter what I say, I think whichever way I look at it, it is a win for the Indian film industry and it's going to be great for the audiences. It's a win-win, the way I look at it and I think it's going to be like just a fantastic time for movie-going audiences, and there is space for everyone to do well.”

What's the plot of Toxic?

Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups is an upcoming Indian Kannada-language action thriller film, scheduled for release on March 19, 2026. It is directed by Geetu Mohandas and stars Yash in the lead role. Against the scenic backdrop of Goa between the 1940s and 1970s, the film portrays a gritty saga of crime, power, and betrayal as one man builds his ruthless empire.

It deals with the consequences of colonial rule and the rise of local crime syndicates. The story is said to explore the protagonist's "inner abyss", focusing on ambition, fear, and the emotional stress of the consequences of one's actions.

The film features an ensemble cast supporting Yash (in a dual role as Raya/Ticket), including Kiara Advani (Nadia), Nayanthara (Ganga), Huma Qureshi (Elizabeth), Tara Sutaria (Rebecca), Rukmini Vasanth (Mellisa), Tovino Thomas (antagonist), Akshay Oberoi (Tony), and Sudev Nair (Karmadi).

What to expect from Dhurandhar: The Revenge?

Dhurandhar: The Revenge, directed by Aditya Dhar, will see Ranveer Singh return as Hamza/Jaskirat Singh Rangi in a darker, revenge-driven story following Rehman Dakait’s (Akshaye Khanna) death, featuring expanded action sequences, intense geopolitical conflict, and ruthless urban warfare in Lyari.

Ranveer Singh leads the cast, with Arjun Rampal (Major Iqbal), Sanjay Dutt (SP Chaudhary Aslam), R. Madhavan (Ajay Sanyal), and Sara Arjun returning. There are strong rumours of Emraan Hashmi joining as the mysterious villain Bade Sahab.
