DNA, the recently released Tamil thriller has managed to close its box office collection to under Rs 10 crore ahead of its OTT debut. The film is set to premiere on JioHotstar on July 19 in multiple languages. You can watch the film with your OTTplay Premium app.

DNA: How much did Atharvaa and Nimisha’s film make before OTT debut

Atharvaa and Nimisha Sajayan came together for the first time for the 2025 Tamil film DNA. The thriller released in theatres on June 20, and after its theatrical run, will begin streaming on JioHotstar from July 20. Written and directed by Nelson Venkatesan, here is how much the film made at the box office.

As per Sacnilk report, DNA is closing its box office collection under Rs 10 crore. To be precise, the film's total collection worldwide is Rs 9.36 crore, with the major share coming from India with Rs 8.03 crore. DNA did not have a fantastic run, and opened to mixed reviews upon its release. The film is a thriller which features Atharvaa and Nimisha Sajayan as newly married couple who give birth to their first child. However, after the wife identifies that the baby handed over to her is not hers, it sets the husband to figure out where their real child is taken to.

Cast and crew of DNA

The crime thriller film features Balaji Sakthivel, Ramesh Thilak, Viji Chandrasekar, Chetan, Riythvika KP, Subramanian Siva, Karunakaran, and Pasanga Sivakumar. Produced by Jayanthi Ambedkar, the background score is by Ghibran Vaibodha, while Sreekanth Hariharan, Sathya Prakash, Anal Akash, Praveen Saivi, and Sahi Siva have worked as composers. Parthiban D.F.T has shot the film and Sabu Joseph VJ is the editor.
