Dude actor Sarathkumar says ‘I’ve become a dude now’; openly requests to make film with Deepika Padukone and him

Veteran actor Sarathkumar had played an interesting character in the recently released Tamil film Dude. Featuring Pradeep Ranganathan and Mamitha Baiju in the lead role, this romantic entertainer features Sarathkumar as the Premalu star’s father and a politician.

Sarathkumar, the Tamil actor, was recently seen in Dude, which has been doing well at the box office. Speaking at a recent press meet for the film, Sarathkumar talked about how his character has been received well.

"I am also getting the fans of Pradeep and have been calling me dude. I have become a dude now, and if someone can, they can make a film with me and Deepika Padukone, even with a song. I am ready. If I can do this character, then I can do that as well. I have already worked with Aishwarya Rai as her husband. So, I can make such requests only now,” Sarathkumar said. Sarathkumar was referring to playing Aishwarya Rai’s husband in the Ponniyin Selvan duology, as he nonchalantly asked the producers of Dude to think about casting him in a romance film. “Producers can think about it, and it is the time I can also request. I think we can have Sai (Abyankkar) for music, and get Pradeep's advice too," he added.
