Dude, the Tamil romantic entertainer, has been making a splash at the box office, with the film giving a bonafide success to Pradeep Ranganathan. There is no doubt that the young actor and director is the next big thing in Tamil cinema. With the film crossing its first week, as per Sacnilk report, Dude is standing at Rs 96 crore worldwide. However, the makers have already claimed the magical three-digit number 100 crore within six days.

Dude, the 2025 Tamil film starring actors Pradeep Ranganathan and Mamitha Baiju, is nearing 100 crores (nett), with Sacnilk report stating that the collection is now at Rs 96 crore worldwide.

However, as per the producers, Dude has already grossed Rs 100 crore within six days of release. The film capitalised on the Diwali weekend, and emerged out as the winner of the festive season, surpassing Diesel and Bison. However, the daily earnings of Dude have significantly dropped. Dude is expected to continue for a week or so, until new Tamil releases hit theatres on October 31, but one has to wait and watch if the film will beat top grossers like Good Bad Ugly, Dragon and Coolie.

Dude is set to release on Netflix after its theatrical run. However, the film is not expected to make a debut anytime soon, give the good reception it has been getting in big screens. Dude might drop on Netflix sometime towards the end of November.

Dude revolves around two childhood friends and cousins, Agan and Kural. As they get attracted to each other at different point in time, the film revolves around the two as they navigate through unrequited love, marriage and even pregnancy. The film has senior actors like Sarathkumar and Rohini, and is directed by debutant Keerthiswaran. Sai Abhyankkar has scored music for the film and Niketh Bommi has cranked the camera.
