As per the Sacnilk report, Dude has made Rs 6.75 crore in Tamil, while making Rs 3.25 crore in Telugu. The total Rs 10 crore cements a good start for Dude. With the festive weekend to follow, the film is expected to make a strong impact at the box office. It is to be noted that one has to wait and watch if Dude surpasses Dragon, which was released earlier this year, and had crossed Rs 100 crore. However, Dude has already surpassed both Dragon and Love Today's opening collection, which were Rs 7 crore and Rs 2 crore, respectively. The online bookings for Dude are also strong over the weekend, even as two other Tamil films, Bison and Diesel, are also running in theatres.
