The ‘Shape of You’ star Ed Sheeran is having a jolly good time in Mumbai. Standup comedian and actor Kapil Sharma threw a party for the English singer-songwriter on Thursday before his March 16 concert at Mahalaxmi Race Course Grounds, Mumbai. And of course, several Bollywood celebs, including Shah Rukh Khan, Gauri Khan, Farah Khan, Ahaan Pandey, Munawar Faruqui, and newlyweds Jackky Bhagnani and Rakul Preet Singh, were present.

Ed Sheeran showed up at Kapil Sharma and Ginni Chatrath party on March 14, dressed in a pair of black jeans and a white T-shirt. Jackky Bhagnani and Rakul Preet Singh, who recently got married, were at Kapil's party to meet Ed. Rakul Preet looked stunning in an orange outfit, while Jackky wore a black and white T-shirt with jeans. "What a warm guy," wrote Rakul Preet about Ed on her Instagram stories. This was along with a picture of her with Jackky and Ed.

Bigg Boss 17 winner Munawar Faruqui, who wore a black kurta, shared an Instagram photo with Ed and Kapil. He wrote, “Comedy, music and us (red heart emoji). Great meeting two masters of both the art forms...” A permanent judge on The Kapil Sharma Show, actor Archana Puran Singh, dressed in a black blazer, matching pants and white shirt, attended the party with her son Ayushmaan Sethi. The hosts, Ginni Chatrath and Kapil Sharma, looked sharp in a black dress and a white jacket, respectively. There are rumours that Ed may feature on ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’.
Ed Sheeran lauds Indian hospitality
"I really feel the love here, in India," Ed said recently, discussing his India tour in an interview with India Today. Sharing more, Ed quipped that there are situations where you can play and people are quiet and you can never tell how someone else feels, even if they are aware of it internally. “I have played in certain countries where people have a subdued reaction, but here, in India, it’s a vibrant country. People are so excited! I have the same personality, so I like that,” Ed was quoted as saying.
