Film enthusiasts praised the new Malayalam web series, The Chronicles of 4.5 Gang also known as Sambhavavivaranam Nalara Sangham, for its dynamic performances and style of filmmaking. To the joy of moviegoers, more Malayalam web series will soon be available on Sony LIV in digital format. This news has undoubtedly increased the viewers' anticipation, even if neither the platform nor the creators have disclosed a release date. Subscribers to OTTplay Premium will also get access to these shows.

Eyes

Director - Manu Ashokan

Cast - Nikhila Vimal, Dev Mohan, Saniya Iyappan and Kani Kusruti

By the second half of 2024, Eyes—a highly anticipated emotional thriller—was supposed to be available on Sony LIV. However, for unspecified reasons, it was postponed by the makers. This eagerly awaited project's screenplay was written by acclaimed screenwriters Bobby and Sanjay. The anticipation for this series is great given Manu's previous directing credits, which include Kaanekkane which is accessible on OTTplay Premium and Sony LIV.

Blindfold

Director - Anzarulla

Cast - Arjun Radhakrishnan, Lukman Avaran, Lijomol, Anurag Arora and Munish Sharma

This online series was also announced a while ago, but there were no significant updates. Filming on Blindfold started in 2023, according to Lijomol's statement in an interview with OTTplay. Despite saying she cannot give more information about her role in the web series, Lijomol is positive it is everything she has never done in her career. Sources claim that this series would make for an intriguing thriller.

Cast - Gayathrie Shankar, Anarkali Marakkar, Meenakshi Jayan, Harish Uthaman, Adil Ibrahim and Riya Jithu

This web series, which will soon be available on the website, is billed as a thought-provoking drama. This work's production was completed in February after starting in November of last year. Pharma, another directorial by P R Arun, which stars Rajat Menon and Nivin Pauly in the key parts, will make its JioHotstar debut shortly.
