The latest update in film circles is that Gaami will stream on Zee 5 from April 12, 2024, onwards. Zee 5 will soon make an official confirmation. Vidhyadhar Kagita directed Gaami, and due to massive budget constraints, it took him six years to make. With the OTT deal, the makers landed profits and even released the film on a grand note.
Not many know, but Gaami started as a crowd-funding film, and later, producer Karthik Sabareesh took over the project. He has made solid money with the post-release deals. The satellite rights to the film have also fetched the makers big money, thereby landing them in a safe zone.

Gaami was made on a budget of Rs 2 crore and grossed close to Rs 20 crore at the box office. Vishwak Sen played an Aghora in this film, and his performance was appreciated greatly. With Gaami, Chandini Chowdary made a successful comeback to Telugu cinema after a long gap.
