Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2: The Rule was undoubtedly the biggest OTT release of 2025, so far, and has made a terrific splash in the streaming world after its digital premiere last week. Now we have another Telugu film hitting the OTT space this week with Ram Charan’s Game Changer. From the Tamil industry, Shane Nigam’s Madraskaaran is also set to arrive in the digital space. Language - Telugu

Game Changer, starring Ram Charan in the lead, was a highly anticipated film from Telugu cinema this year. The film also marked director Shankar’s Telugu debut, and the audiences were keen to see how the star actor-director collaboration would turn out to be. Shankar, who is known for Kamal Haasan’s Indian, once again chose a tale of fighting the corrupt system in the Telugu political action film. But the film failed to click at the box office. Now, it remains to be seen how the film will fare once it makes its OTT debut, which has been reportedly pushed ahead. Kiara Advani, Anjali, and SJ Suryah are also part of the film.

Madraskaaran

Where to watch - Aha Tamil, OTTplay Premium

OTT release date - February 7, 2025

Language - Tamil

Shane Nigam, who garnered popularity after his Malayalam film RDX, made his Tamil debut with Madraskaaran. The young actor plays the lead role of Sathya, who chooses to return to his hometown to tie the knot with his lady love. Kalaiyarasan, Niharika Konidela and Aishwarya Dutta play the other key roles in the film. Shane Nigam’s film did not manage to impress the theatre audiences and it remains to be seen if he finds some love in the OTT space for his Tamil outing.

OTT release date - February 4, 2025

Language - Telugu

Another Telugu release, but a web series that follows two families in Rayalaseema as they get caught in a conflict. Ravi Prakash plays the main lead in this series that is high on action and drama. The Telugu series, which has eight episodes, can be watched in six other languages, including Hindi, Kannada, Tamil and Bengali.

Vivekanandan Viral

Where to watch – Aha, OTTplay Premium

OTT release date: February 7, 2025

Language - Telugu-dubbed film

Vivekanandan Viral is the Telugu-dubbed version of the 2024 Malayalam film, which starred Shine Tom Chacko. The film, directed by Kamal, narrates the story of Vivekanandan as he goes viral and the women he encounters in life. Vivekanandan Viralanu is the original Malayalam title of the film, which also features Grace Antony, Swasika Vijay, and Johny Antony.

There aren’t any new OTT releases in Malayalam this week, with Tovino Thomas’ Identity being the latest digital release from Mollywood. You can watch Identity on Zee5 and OTTplay Premium right now.
