A source confirmed the same to Pinkvilla stating, “Akshay Kumar has a dynamic role in the film that will bring the house down with laughter. The Khiladi Kumar has allotted 18 days to shoot for the film, and will share a very Tom & Jerry like equation with Ajay Devgn on screen.” Interestingly, back when there were reports of the film being inspired by a Bollywood classic, the same statement – of the duo sharing a Tom & Jerry like equation – was shared. This asserts that while the two will pretend like they wish to hurt one another, they are actually best friends who cannot see each other in too much pain or trouble.

The Rohit Shetty directorial also features Arshad Warsi, Sharman Joshi, Kunal Kemmu, and Tusshar Kapoor. The movie marks Sharman’s return to the franchise since the original film released nearly 20 years back. It is also likely to see Kareena Kapoor Khan back as the female lead.
