Good Bad Ugly will have a solo release in Tamil. The Ajith Kumar-starrer is all set to take over big screens on April 10. Earlier, the film was announced to be a Pongal release but was postponed after Vidaamuyarchi was slotted for the similar window. Good Bad Ugly will be releasing for Tamil New Year weekend.

The trailer of Good Bad Ugly was released recently. Adhik, who is known to be Ajith Kumar’s fan, has inserted many callbacks to actor’s previous films. The trailer contains the yesteryear Tamil song Otha Rubai Tharen, as we see a face-off between Ajith Kumar and the antagonist played by Arjun Das. In the intercuts, the cast is introduced. Ajith Kumar will play Red Dragon, a notorious gangster who has reformed but now has to take up old ways for a personal cause. Adhik makes enough pop culture and meme references in the trailer, which also features a glimpse of Simran, confirming the reunion of hit Vaalee pair onscreen.

Good Bad Ugly will have a runtime of two hours and 18 minutes, making it crisp and enough for the audience who at today’s times prefer shorter films.

Netflix has bagged the post-theatrical streaming rights of the film. After the theatrical run, the Ajith Kumar film will premiere on the streaming giant in different languages.
