The Pawan Kalyan-starrer Hari Hara Veera Mallu: Part 1 – Sword vs Spirit, the Telugu historic action film, is now streaming on Prime Video. Subscribers of OTTplay Premium can access the film via an additional top-up to their existing plan and watch the film in multiple audio languages. However, there is a twist in the OTT version, given the film’s runtime has been shortened, with a few changes taking place in the climax, which leads to the sequel.

After much delays and postponements, actor and politician Hari Hara Veera Mallu: Part 1 – Sword vs Spirit hit theatres in July and failed to create any box office waves. However, its streaming debut took place nearly within a month and is now available on Prime Video to stream. But there is a twist. As opposed to the 161-minute runtime of the historical action adventure, the OTT version has been chopped to 153 minutes.

Besides this, several portions have been trimmed to give a seamless viewing experience to the audience. As per a report by 123 Telugu, in the OTT version, the climax portion in which Bobby Deol's character had a dialogue and a cyclone fight, has gone missing, which gives way to the sequel. Instead, the movie now ends with the Asura Hananam song, leading to the second part. A few VFX portions have also been enhanced, it has been reported.
