Hari Hara Veera Mallu has been in the making for nearly five years now. The period drama stars Badri and Tholi Prema actor Pawan Kalyan in the lead role. Due to his political commitments, the film has faced repeated delays.

Though the makers had locked June 12, 2025, as the release date, the film has been postponed yet again. One of the key reasons is that the theatrical business is yet to be finalized. Additionally, VFX work is still pending for key episodes of the film.

Citing these delays, Amazon Prime Video, which holds the OTT rights, has taken strict action. As per the latest update, Amazon has deducted ₹5 crore from the OTT deal originally agreed upon with the makers, since the film will no longer release on June 12, 2025.

If the film fails to release in July 2025, even more money will be deducted from the overall package. A source close to the production revealed to us that Amazon Prime Video is now calling the shots and is exploring various options to finalize the new release date. The film will now release according to Amazon Prime Video's schedule, not the makers'.

The latest buzz suggests that Hari Hara Veera Mallu might release on July 4, 2025. The makers had planned a special promotional event in Hyderabad, but that has now been scrapped.

Krish backs out of Hari Hara Veera Mallu

Due to the constant delays, director Krish, of Vedham fame, stepped away from the project. Producer AM Ratnam’s son, Jyothi Krishna, then took over and completed the film.
