Movies releasing on the same day or same week, clashing at the box office, is not a new thing. Recently, Hrithik Roshan's War 2 and Rajinikanth's Coolie, were released on August 14. Likewise, Harshvardhan Rane's Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat, which was earlier scheduled for October 2 release, will now be released on October 21, in the Diwali week. Meanwhile, Ayushmann Khurrana's Thama will also be hitting cinemas in Diwali 2025.

Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat release date

On August 21, the makers of Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat unveiled a new poster featuring Harshvardhan Rane and Sonam Bajwa. The poster shows the lead actors facing each other with a fire background. The teaser will be released on August 22, and the film will hit theaters on October 21, 2025.

Sharing the poster, Rane captioned his Instagram post, "Iss Diwali, Diye hi nahi, Dil bhi jalenge. Mohabbat se takraayegi Nafrat, aag lagaayegi deewaanon ki Deewaniyat!"

With this, Harshvardhan's Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat will face a box office clash with Maddock Films' Thama, starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Rashmika Mandanna, and Paresh Rawal. Thama will also be released in Diwali 2025.

Meanwhile, Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat is directed by Milap Milan Zaveri and produced by Anshul Garg.

Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the movie is now streaming on Prime Video, available for existing OTTplay Premium users.
