Kannada audiences don't get to see too many coming-of-age dramas, let alone good ones. So, if you are in the mood to watch a critically acclaimed film based on the lives of a bunch of college friends who are faced with the responsibilities of adulthood and their struggle to find solace amid complex relationships, then Hondisi Bareyiri is the film for you.

Hondisi Bareyiri revolves around the lives of five engineering college students in a college in Davanagere: Kumar (Shri Mahadev), Ranjith (Naveen Shankar), Jagan (Praveen Tej), Soma (Anirudh Acharya), and Saniha (Aishani Shetty). The story spans over 12 years, during which time some people enter and exit their lives, and what happens as a result of this.
The message that the movie aims to deliver is this: Live life to the fullest.
