Filmmaker Vignesh Karthick made a follow up to his 2024 Hot Spot, with a sequel titled Hot Spot 2 Much. The film released in theatres in January, and following its big screen run, will now stream via OTTplay Premium from February 20 onwards. The makers of Hot Spot 2 Much have opted for multi-partner streaming release, and will be available on Aha Tamil, Lionsgate Play and Prime Video.

Ahead of its streaming debut, here is now much the film made at the box office. As per Sacnilk report, the film has made Rs 3.3 crore worldwide. It has made a net amount of Rs 2.93 crore in India, suggesting that Hot Spot 2 primarily ran in its home state Tamil Nadu. Despite its middling reviews, the film was able to surpass the lifetime collection of the first part which had made a mere Rs 0.59 crore.
