Hridayapoorvam release date

The film will have a theatrical release on August 28 as part of Onam. It will release in theatres with Kalyani Priyadarshan's Lokah: Chapter 1- Chandra, which is a fantasy thriller with cameos from popular actors in Malayalam.

In the teaser, a young man standing in what appears to be a college hallway asks Mohanlal where he's from. Mohanlal responds that he is from Kerala. "I like Malayalam films," the young man says, pointing to Fahadh Faasil as his favourite actor. The man remains with Fahadh despite Mohanlal's suggestion that there are "good senior actors," forcing Mohanlal to get out of the moment. The teaser then switches to giving a glimpse into other characters from the movie.

After receiving a heart transplant, Sandeep, a middle-aged bachelor, goes to Pune to attend his donor's daughter's engagement. On the day her engagement is called off, Sandeep has a back injury that causes him to stick around. The main focus of the film is the entertaining result of these incidents.
