I’m Game director Nahas Hidhayath has said that Mysskin has completed shooting for his portions in Dulquer Salmaan’s film, which is set to release in theatres for Onam 2026.

The upcoming film I’m Game marks Dulquer Salmaan’s grand return to Malayalam cinema after a hiatus. Helmed by Nahas Hidhayath, the film features several notable names from other industries as well, including Tamil actor-filmmaker Mysskin. In the latest update, Mysskin has wrapped up his portions in the DQ film, with Nahas Hidhayath saying, “can’t wait to show you the powerful presence”.

I’m Game director Nahas Hidhayath took to Instagram on Thursday to announce that Mysskin has completed shooting for his portions. He also shared a video of the actor-filmmaker singing and wrote, “Directing him has been a true honour and a deeply fulfilling experience. We can’t wait to show you the powerful presence he brings to the screen.”

Notably, I’m Game marks the Malayalam acting debut with the Dulquer Salmaan film, which is touted to be a high-octane action thriller. Revealing his role earlier in an interview, Mysskin had said he was playing an “extremely bad guy, who mercilessly kills people.”

Meanwhile, director Mysskin has a Tamil film, starring actor Vijay Sethupathi and Shruti Haasan, pending for release. There have been no official updates on when the film will be released, which is reportedly caught in financial issues.

When will I’m Game release

I’m Game will release in theaters for Onam 2026 Dulquer Salmaan had earlier revealed. But an exact release date was not announced. I’m Game marks the second directorial venture of Nahas Hidayath after the action-packed RDX, which impressed audiences with its stellar action sequences.

Antony Varghese Pepe, who had earlier collaborated with Nahas on RDX, plays the other key role in the DQ film. Apart from Mysskin, Tamil actor Kathir is also part of I’m Game along with Samyuktha Viswanathan.

Dulquer last starred in Kaantha, a Tamil period film. His previous Malayalam film was King of Kotha in 2023, which failed at the box office.
