The first clash had been abandoned due to rain and now all will await for the third and final T20I game at Napier to decide if the Men in Blue win the series 2-0 or the BlackCaps level it 1-1.
Suryakumar Yadav got his second century in the game's shortest format, continuing his recent hot streak in international T20Is. A significant plus for India in the second game was the bowling courtesy of Deepak Hooda and Yuzvendra Chahal.
Talking about the Kiwi side, Kane Williamson, their regular skipper, will be absent from this game owing to a scheduled medical visit. The squad has called in Mark Chapman, who might start at number three.
