Only a few days are left for the release of Jana Nayagan, as fans are gearing up for the release of trailer on Saturday. The film starring Vijay, holds much importance, given it is the actor's last film before he quits cinema for politics. Directed by filmmaker H Vinoth, in a recent interview, said how after coming to know that it is Vijay's last film, he added some political elements in the film.

Jana Nayagan marks Vijay's final film before he quits cinema to concentrate on full-time politics. In an interview with Vikatan, H Vinoth said that once he got to know that Vijay will quit cinema, he approached the actor's manager to narrate a story, which then happened to be Jana Nayagan. The director further revealed that after he came to know Vijay entering politics, he added a few political elements into the story. Though doubtful if the producer will accept it, the elements were retained with the producer giving more bold political inputs for the film.

Jana Nayagan trailer will be released on Saturday at 6.45 pm. It will be released in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi languages. As fans gear up for one last time, Jana Nayagan is touted to be a political action drama. The cast includes Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol, Priyamani, Mamitha Baiju, Prakash Raj, Gautham Menon, Narain and others. Prime Video has bagged the post-theatrical streaming rights of Jana Nayagan. Anirudh Ravichander has scored the music for the film.
