The makers of Jana Nayagan have started with the promotions of the much-anticipated film of next year. First scheduled to release in October this year, the film now releases for Pongal 2026. Jana Nayagan is touted as the last film from Vijay, given he has chosen to tread the path of politics and contest in elections. In the latest, the second single, Oru Pere Varalaaru, was released by the makers on social media on Thursday.

Oru Pere Varalaaru is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, with lyrics by Vivek. The vocals are by Vishal Mishra and Anirudh Ravichander. The song, pretty much as expected, is hyping up the imagery of Vijay as it positions him as people's leader and saviour. The song also features Vijay shaking a leg, with most of the video being animated.
