As per Sanilk, Jatadhara earned Rs. 6.68 crore (India gross) while the Indian net collection is Rs. 5.73 crore. The film managed Rs. 7.33 crore at the worldwide box office.

What's the plot of Jatadhara?

Jatadhara (2025) is a Telugu-Hindi mystical thriller that follows Shiva (Sudheer Babu), a pragmatic ghost hunter drawn into a supernatural conflict tied to the ancient secrets of the Padmanabhaswamy Temple. He faces off against the Dhanapisachini (Demon of Greed), portrayed by Sonakshi Sinha, whose awakening threatens to disrupt the balance of power.

Shiva is a rational, corporate-working ghost hunter who debunks myths, but is haunted by dreams of a couple attempting to kill him as an infant. A dark legend is revealed where ancient people used black magic (Pisacha Bandhanam) to trap a demon to guard forbidden wealth, requiring human sacrifices.

Shiva learns that his twisted family history is linked to this demon known as Dhanpishachini (Sonakshi Sinha), who targets Shiva to regain his powers. Under divine guidance, he must stop the spirit, which is a manifestation of insatiable greed and sorrow.
