We had already reported that Nagarjuna's sister Susheela and brother Venkat graced the show and opened up about the emotional side of Nagarjuna. Yet another aspect of the show where Nagarjuna speaks about his career has now gone viral.

When the host asked Nagarjuna about the initial days of his film career, Nagarjuna said that his first film, Vikram, only worked because he was the great ANR's son, and from there, some of his films were rejected by the audience. "I saw success with Majnu, where the audience got to know I can act as well. My first commercial success was Aakhari Poratam with Raghavendra Rao. The film was a smash hit due to Sridevi, and I was just seen as an object in the film," says Nagarjuna.

The star hero goes on to add that one fine day, he made up his mind that he would not do films that he does not relate to. "I made a conscious decision and slowed down on signing Telugu films. It was when Mani Ratnam's Mouna Ragam was released, I felt that Mani is the director I should work with to change my career. I chased Mani Ratnam for over three weeks and used to land at his doorstep early in the morning, requesting him to make a film with me. That is how Geethanjali happened, and since then, there has been no looking back for me," adds Nagarjuna.

Geethanjali is a cult classic in Telugu cinema, and Nagarjuna also revealed that Mani Ratnam was not keen on making it in Telugu, but he convinced him to do it so that his market would get better in Telugu cinema. Since then, Nagarjuna has come a long way and played the main villain in Rajinikanth's Coolie, which is now out in theatres. Nagarjuna is now gearing up for his 100th film as a hero.
