There have been huge expectations ever since Siddharth Anand announced Pathaan with Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone in lead roles. The action drama, which was released today across the globe, has been receiving a thumbs up from critics and moviegoers, thus providing the much-needed enthusiasm to Bollywood.

The film has hit the screens in Tamil and Telugu as well. The former version has opened to fantastic booking across Tamil Nadu and the trade is looking forward to the figures. The presence of SRK, his chemistry with Deepika and a cameo by Salman Khan are a few aspects which impressed cinephiles.

Many celebrities from various industries have been wishing success to team Pathaan since morning while some of them have been expressing excitement on hearing positive response for the movie. None other than Kamal Haasan has joined the bandwagon as he has taken to his Twitter page to express joy on the same.

He has congratulated Shah Rukh, his Hey Ram co-star, and said that he's elated to have been hearing great reports about the film. His tweet read, "Hearing great reports about Pathan. Saket congratulates Pathan. Way to go brother (sic)." The mutual fans of the two legendary actors are going gaga over the tweet and they are now eager to know how SRK is going to reply to the Ulaganayagan.

Many point out that this appreciation from Kamal isn't just a casual gesture, but a huge support, considering the hate SRK and team Pathaan were subjected to in recent times. The effigies of SRK and Deepika were burnt by right wing supporters after they got hurt with a few scenes in a song.

Several industry insiders and fans had expressed their eagerness on how the film would be received. It looks like all their concerns have gone for a toss now.
