Sacnilk reported that after 7 days, Kantara Chapter 1's Hindi box office collection is Rs 102 crore in total as of now, as it collected Rs 8.5 crore on the seventh day.

Rishab Shetty films on OTTplay

Meanwhile, in total, across all versions, the film has collected Rs. 316 crore, which is a slight dip because on the sixth day, the film minted Rs. 34.25 crore while on the seventh day, it managed Rs. 25 crore.

On the other hand, the Kannada version managed Rs. 98.85 crore and is expected to cross Rs. 100 crore by today (October 9).

About Kantara Chapter 1

Kantara: Chapter 1 is an origin story prequel to the 2022 film Kantara, set in ancient Tulunadu. It focuses on a warrior named Berme (Rishab Shetty) who defends his tribal community and the sacred forest of Kantara from the encroaching Kadamba kingdom led by the ambitious King Vijayendra (Jayaram) and his ruthless son, Kulasekhara (Gulshan Devaiah).

This story explores themes of greed, spirituality, exploitation of nature, and the clash between tradition and modernity. The story culminates in a visually spectacular battle in which the Berme, possessed by a protective spirit, confronts Kanakavathi (Rukmini Vasanth), who is revealed to be the real mastermind.
