Ever since Aryan Khan's debut directorial series The Ba***ds of Bollywood, was announced, fans have been anticipating it. The series is all set to land on Netflix on September 18. In several interviews, the cast of the series shared that Aryan has worked tirelessly for 2 years, so the hype is real now. Additionally, the trailer also looks promising. Ahead of the release, Karan Johar, who will have a cameo appearance in the series, penned an emotional note for Aryan and sent his best wishes for his journey.

Taking to his Instagram handle, Karan Johar shared a picture with Aryan Khan. In the snap, the seasoned director and the rising director can be seen posing together for the camera, while Aryan flaunts his 'no-smile' face.

Sharing the picture, KJo wrote, "Shine on son!!! Tonight is your big night… when your family , friends and the fraternity will welcome you to the movies with their arms wide out ( your father made that a national gesture ) … you treaded a path that many never believed you would … the daunting task of being behind the camera… of being a story teller and the captain of its execution."

He further mentioned that he has seen Aryan work tirelessly and passionately for over 2 years and never once taking the opportunity given to him for granted. "You have an individual style of telling your story and I can’t wait for everyone to see and hear your voice in #badsofbollywood... I am so so proud of you and love you so much!!! ( also thanks for giving me a part in the show, I was secretly dying for you to ask me ) …. Series toh ban gayi beta…Picture abhi baaki hai!!!!!" Karan concluded.
