The last day of filming for Naagzilla was March 16, according to a source who informed Bollywood Hungama. Aaryan, who plays the lead role, was absent since he finished filming his scenes a few days prior. The Mumbai shoot was helmed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba. 'Pack up!' the director yelled, and the sets were filled with joy. The source added that it was discouraging for the unit to hear that their exciting adventure had ended.

The crew is currently focusing on the extensive visual effects needed for the creature comedy, as primary photography has been completed. As a shape-shifting naag (serpent) plays a significant role in the film, post-production is expected to be intense in order to fulfil the high expectations of current fantasy movies.

What is Mrighdeep Singh Lamba's main priority moving forward?

The source added, "Now that the shoot is completed, Mrighdeep Singh Lamba’s complete focus will be on post-production and ensuring that their labour of love turns out to be an exciting and fascinating piece of cinema for the audiences."

Notably, Aaryan and Karan Johar have worked together before Naagzilla on the romance drama Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri (late 2025).

Who are the key cast members making their mark in Naagzilla?

This is Preity Mukhundhan's debut in Bollywood. The actor made her debut in the 2024 Telugu horror-comedy Om Bheem Bush and has since been in several films, including Star and the historical drama Kannappa solidifying her position in South Indian cinema. Naagzilla supposedly has veteran actor Ravi Kishan as the film's main antagonist, and Preity is expected to play the female lead opposite Aaryan.

Tajamul Islam, a kickboxing prodigy from Kashmir who became a world champion at a young age, is the inspiration behind this new enterprise.

After their productive collaboration on the biopic Chandu Champion in 2024, this is Aaryan and Khan's second collaboration. Production on the sports drama reportedly began on March 16 at a Parel, Mumbai restaurant, and the actor is set to join the cast later this month following a short training session.
