A special Independence Day episode with esteemed officers from the Indian Armed Forces: Colonel Sofiya Qureshi of the Indian Army, Wing Commander Vyomika Singh of the Indian Air Force, and Commander Prerna Deosthalee of the Indian Navy, premiered on August 15, and the three of them won Rs. 25 lakh.

Three women officers from the Indian Armed Forces - Colonel Sophia Qureshi from the Indian Army, Wing Commander Vyomika Singh from the Indian Air Force, and Commander Prerna Deosthalee from the Indian Navy, who graced KBC 17, were part of India's Operation Sindoor. They shared stories of Operation Sindoor and also played the quiz show and won Rs 25 lakh.

Their Rs 25 lakh question was: "The 'Arch of Remembrance' in Leicester, England, was designed by the same person who also designed which of these Indian monuments?"

The options were: A) Victoria Memorial, B) Gateway of India, C) Fort St. George, D) India Gate

They used their revived lifeline of Audience Poll to select the correct option. The most votes went for option D, and hence they chose it and the correct answer was option D (India Gate), which won them Rs. 25 lakh. However, they did not go ahead in the game show and quit after winning Rs. 25 lakh.

Colonel Sofiya Qureshi on Operation Sindoor

In the episode, Colonel Sofiya Qureshi opened up about India's Operation Sindoor against Pakistan.

"Pakistan yeh karta chala aa raha hai. Toh jawab dena banta tha, sir. Isiliye Operation Sindoor ko plan kiya gaya. (Pakistan has been doing this for years; it was important to answer back, which is why Operation Sindoor was planned)" she said.

On the other hand, Wing Commander Vyomika Singh added that at night, between 1.05 am to 1.30 am, they ended their game in just 25 minutes. "Targets were destroyed and no civilians were harmed," said Commander Prerna Deosthalee.
